My cousin Joey passed away today that's Jeremy and Nathaiel dad
Like a brother to me. He fought cancer for a yr
Your prayers will be appreciated.

Also just heard Eddie mom has stage 4 cancer
Remember her and Eddies family in your prayers.

Sitting in a tree this morning first time this year. It is nice bout 50 with a ne wind.

Sophie made it to the semi finals last night doesn't hunt again till fri.

World hunt next week Travis is going to hunt Sophie for me it pays 25,000 to win y'all keep your fingers and toes crossed.

Didn't get to push her in the hunts this year my dad has been in and out if the hospital fit about 5mo now so it's been a hard summer but I'm ready to take out my frustration on some ducks.

Had a long stressful day today came in sit down with Caden( 4yr old)cracked open a cold one(yoohoo)and everything seems to be getting better now.

Dads back in hospital I think his blood pressure med was working too good his blood pressure got real low so they are checking him out.

Ill admit it I teared up a little.

Still to this day best duck dog I ever hunted with.

We thought he was bout ready to go home but today they found bleeding around his hip.

Some of you know and some don't. My dad had a blood vessel leak in his head and went in the hospital tues. morning. He's seems to be getting better and they said they have the leak stopped . Thank everyone for your prayers and continue to pray for him. Ill keep you updated.

Well always something to pray about My dad is having trouble with his left eye they said it has blood behind the eye so Ive got to take him to mem. tomorrow to see what they are going to do about it.

Good time with Caleb sat.Tried to get him to shoot a doe he said he already killed one of those So guess Ill have to kill one for meat.

Ended the day with 12 turkeys seen and 6 deer but no shots for Caleb it was 58 sat afternoon and raining kinda breezy. Felt great and only added to my readyness for duck season.We were out on the porch this afternoon and Caleb was shooting his bow and I caught myself listening for geese about dark 3...

Hunting with Caleb this morning in the ground blind since I can't pull my bow or climb a tree (broke ribs) seen 7 turkeys but no deer yet.
